Pelleas et Melisande Costume designed by Netia Jones. The fabric for the dress and coat were both custom printed and didn’t have to be “pattern matched” per say but there were conscious decisions that had to be made while cutting to make sure the colors flowed from one side to another. The dress was marked and cut by both Athene Wright and myself. The gorgeous red lining on the cape was cut by Athene. The whole dress is flat lined in silk organza which was very time consuming to pin out and made cutting take even longer.
