Orange silk velvet bags designed for apprentices to build their first week to test skill levels. The bags were the idea of myself and Katie Kenna. Drafted by Katie Kenna. Mock up stitched by myself. Two sides are cartridge pleated and two sides have button holes at either end for the hug snug tie can travel through. The bottom is a silk lining stitched with continuous square box. The goal for the apprentices was to: get familiar with cartridge pleating, stitching on velvet accurately, and delicate hand sewing.
